Amanda Souza

Amanda has grown up with video games in the house, playing "shared" consoles and games with her siblings. One of her favorite game series is the Legend of Zelda but enjoys many Nintendo games and other RPG games. She also loves anime - "believe it!"
As a teenager, Amanda quickly developed a passion not only for music but for leading other people to experience an encounter with God through the power of worship. Amanda spent her teenage years growing in her gifts as a musician and worship leader in her youth group. She later received her bachelor’s degree in Music and Worship and Biblical Studies from Northpoint Bible College alongside her husband Matt Souza (SouzyLIVE).

She has experience in music and worship leading in many different areas such as: leading traveling worship teams, developing worship teams and leaders, teaching music and worship seminars, leading and arranging choirs, writing and recording worship music, and more. Amanda also had the privilege to serve as the Sectional Worship Representative of the Southern New England Assemblies of God District for Southwest Connecticut for a short time before moving away to Virginia. ​

Amanda now serves as our Executive and Music Pastor. She not only leads worship and all our music ministries, but also oversees the weekly ins and outs of the everyday functions of the church, leads our Women's Ministry, oversees and plans all significant events such as SquadCon, manages our Discord servers, and more!
